Prayer
As the godly Methodist preacher Samuel Chadwick said: 'The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayer-less studies, prayer-less work, and prayer-less religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.'
We hold our "Hour of Power” Church Prayer Meeting every 1st & 3rd Sunday in the month at 7 PM. We also meet for prayer each Sunday before the worship services.
A daily half-hour of prayer is held in the church sanctuary, 12.30 - 1 PM (Tuesdays to Fridays) to pray for the church, for revival & for those we support in missions. Prayer is an important part of each worship service, and prayer is encouraged in Life Groups and special gatherings.
The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16
