About the Ministry:

In Zimbabwe we support the evangelistic work of Pastor Timothy Rinopisa and his wife Julia (seen on the left). They have three children and are based in and around Dadaya Mission and Secondary School in central Zimbabwe. Pastor Timothy preaches in a number of areas as far spread as Hwange in the NE area of Zimbabwe and in the SE of the country and even over the border in neighbouring Mozambique.

We also support the work of the Khayelihle Children's Village (KCV) just north of Zimbabwe's second city, Bulawayo. This involves the sponsorship of one of their orphans. School aged children attend various primary and secondary schools in Bulawayo.

KCV has over 100 people (children and staff). In the present desperate economic climate in Zimbabwe with lack of food and even adequate water supplies, KCV relies upon both its own farm (for the supply of food) and the help of outside supporters to keep going.

The KCV orphan we have been supporting has grown into a lovely young lady just finishing high school. She is Sithabile Moyo (seen to the right). We also support a second orphan, little Ayanda Makovero (seen left).

See the KiwiLink Reports for more information on the various projects undertaken in Zimbabwe. For up-to-date information on KiwiLink Zimbabwe check out their website -  http://www.kiwilink.org

MBCC also helps KiwiLink with some of its projects in the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. The photo shows Ron Bergman (of Kiwilink), together with Pastor Moses Ngwera & his wife Eunicewho visited us in 2009.

At the time Pastor Moses was the President of the Vanuatu Churches of Christ (an association of over 100 congregations) scattered over several of the islands in thearchipelago.

Short-term teams are organized each year by KiwiLink to both Zimbabwe and Vanuatu.
