GUIDELINES

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. BOOK YOUR SEAT IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND IN PERSON

If you want to attend our church services in person, you have to book your seat. One booking per person, e.g. if you are a family of 4, each person needs to book individually because you will be taking 4 seats. Do not just book your name and leave a note that you will bring others, e.g. Peter + 2 others. Each person MUST book individually.

2. DON’T JUST COME WITHOUT BOOKING

To avoid disappointment, don’t just come without booking your seat as the services might be full. We might not be able to accommodate you.

3. DON'T BOOK YOUR SEAT WEEKS IN ADVANCE

Please don’t book your seat 2-3 weeks in advance. Give others also a chance to attend in person. It happens that people book their seats three weeks in advance and then they forget about the booking and don’t come. This deny others a seat. We would appreciate it if you book your seat on Monday, Tuesday for the coming Sunday.

4. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

For those that have booked, we work on a first come first serve basis. Once the main auditorium is full we will overflow to our downstairs facilities. If you want a seat in the auditorium you need to come early.

5. ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE SERVICE STARTS

If you have booked your seat but are not at the service 5 minutes before it starts, your seat might be given to someone else, e.g. new ‘walk in’ visitor. We do get new ‘walk in’ visitors who do not know about our booking arrangements and your seat might be given to such a ‘walk in’ newcomer in case you have not entered 5 minutes before the service starts. Also, some people book their seats and then they don’t show up. If this happens we might have denied new visitors access due to number restraints. If you wanna keep your seat, be there at least 5 minutes before the service starts.

6. CAN’T ATTEND IN PERSON? ENJOY CHURCH WITH OTHERS AT HOME

If you cannot attend our services in person, enjoy church at home with friends. Invite people to your home, have breakfast and coffee together & watch our service at 11:40 on YouTube. Please inform your friends and family about the fact that they can watch our services online at https://www.youtube.com/mairangibaycommunitychurch. Please note that we do not stream the entire service due to music copyright restrictions by YouTube. We only stream the sermon. Groups are welcome to enjoy their worship, prayer etc. before the sermon time and then join us for the sermon. We have numerous Life Groups (small groups gathering in homes) that gather together for our services, as well as in the week. Our church office can help you connect to a group in your area so feel free to contact us.
