CAP RELEASE GROUPS is a confidential, caring group that helps people find complete freedom from life-controlling habits.

Are you struggling to kick a habit that just seems to control your life? Is your life negatively impacted by dependence on anything from smoking to shopping, alcohol to anger – even the Internet and social media? 


How it works
Over 8 weeks, you’ll gain the knowledge, practical tools and one-to-one coaching you need to overcome your dependency. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to receive support and friendship from people who are fighting to break their own habits, as well.


Dates: At this stage, MBCC will be presenting this course 2 x during 2019. One in the first half of the year and the other in the second half. The first course starts on 


13 May 2019 & runs for 8 weeks (- 1 July 2019)

Languages: This course will be presented in Chinese, but the workbook material is in English.

The course provides 8 sessions of vital content designed to help you with each step to complete freedom. The course begins with identifying your stumbling blocks and setting healthy habits. Further topics cover how to set goals, dealing with anger and anxiety, forgiveness, and how to go forward in life with freedom. The final session is a party to celebrate your Release Group victories so far!

Your Release Group coach will ensure you receive support throughout your journey by offering friendship and one-to-one support that gives you confidence to set goals, make changes and ultimately, break free.

Is CAP just for Christians?
No. CAP helps anyone, regardless of religious beliefs, race, nationality, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation or disability.

Does your service cost anything?
No. CAP’s services are free – funded by individuals, businesses, churches and charitable trusts from all parts of New Zealand.
